A lady drink is a drink you buy for a hostess/performer so they can sit and chat with you. Prices are usually ฿150–200 and the bar keeps a portion. Buying lady drinks does not imply anything else, think of it as time/attention + a commission for the venue.
What’s a bar fine?
A bar fine is the venue’s fee if someone leaves their shift to accompany you elsewhere. It’s not a personal fee and doesn’t include any personal arrangements. For 2025, beer-bar fines typically run ฿500–1,000. Etiquette: always settle the bar fine first, be respectful, and ensure everyone is comfortable with the plan.
